About
I received my B.A. in psychology from Boston College in 2001 and my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008 working with Dr. Diane Mackie.
My research explores the biological, cognitive and behavioral antecedents and consequences of emotional experiences. I am currently working with Dr. Shelley Taylor as a University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellow examining the genetic and cultural determinants of social support provision and support effectiveness.
