About
I am currently completing both the Ph.D. in Musicology and the M.M. in Cello at UCLA. In musicology, my interests lie in film music, particularly that of Japanese animation; I'm also fascinated by Soviet music, as well as the ambiguous nature of music that is only made un-ambiguous by performance.
I spent several years in Europe studying the baroque cello, and the performance and performance practice of the cello is a continuing passion of mine as well.
